The mission of YOUth Decide, Students Against Nicotine's peer education initiative, is to foster healthy attitudes and substance refusal skills among youth. As part of YOUth Decide, we regularly present classroom discussions and interactive Escape the Vape workshops (see below for more details!) as we work to raise awareness of the power of natural, rather than drug-induced, highs. We also organize rallies and celebrations to promote healthy teen lifestyles, including our Better High Day and April Fuul's Day events. If you are interested in an Escape the Vape workshop with your organization or if you have questions about educational efforts, please fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page.
We don't smoke that sh**. We just sell it. We reserve the right to smoke for the young, the poor, the black, and the stupid.

Peer engagement is central to SAN’s work. In addition to traditional classroom discussions, we conduct interactive peer-to-peer education primarily using Escape the Vape, a vape-themed Escape Room game. We start with a brief introduction about SAN, then float among groups answering questions and supervising game play. Afterwards, we conduct a wrap-up where students discuss what they learned and will take away, including action steps. We recommend Escape the Vape for audiences ages 12 and up, in small groups of 4 -8 participants.
