Teens Teaching Educators?
At Students Against Nicotine, we believe that teens have insights essential to designing successful prevention programs. Our directors regularly present to youth professionals and prevention specialists about current youth use trends and needs, health effects of e-cigarettes, and how to engage teens through advocacy efforts. But this is not standard professional development. We make our presentations fun and engaging with trivia, real vaping devices, and engaging resources to take back to students. Both in person and virtually, with groups ranging from 20-600 people, our presentations and workshops help educators across the country better tailor their anti-e-cigarette efforts.
